Hello Corinna],
Thank you for your question. "Kahta" is the partitive form of number "kaksi"
You can use this form when you are doing something at the moment or doing two things at the same time. For example; "Luen kahta kirjaa samaan aikaan" ( I read 2 books at the same time) or "osaan puhua kahta eri kieltä" ( i can speak 2 different languages). Also, if you use prepositions in a sentence or negative sentences then you use this form. For more information, please ask from your Finnish teacher, in case you are a premium plus subscriber.
.
Let us know if you have any question.
Cheers,
Aarni

Mulla on kysymyksen. 😅 Why is "Kahta" used here instead of "Kaksi", and how do you know when to use which?
Hei Elsie!
Kiitos kommentistasi!
Yes, in Finnish, "ladata" means both to download and upload. Usually people know which one is meant, from the context, and from the conjugations;
"lataan tiedoston tietokoneelle" - 'I upload the file to the computer'
"lataan tiedoston tietokoneelta" - 'I download the file from the computer'
Parhain terveisin,

Hei-
In this lesson, ladata is used to mean BOTH download and upload?
Is there ever any confusion in having them both the same word?
6. Lataan tiedoston. = I download a file.
8. Lataan videon YouTubeen. = I upload a video to YouTube.
Kiiiiiiiiiiiiitos. This lesson is diffucult for me. Tämä oppitunti on minulle hyvin vaikea!
Minä en pidän tästä oppitunnti.
Mutta on hyvää tietoa.
